Adult: I'd Die To Find Out (1/1)
Disclaimers: This is a long disclaimer. <g>
This is an adult story. If you are not an adult or do not wish
to read a
Dark Nick story, please go away. This is a Dark Nick and Nat
story, but
devout Natpackers should probably consider the title of the story before
reading it.
Nick, Nat and Co. do not belong to me. They belong to a whole bunch
of
people who are defiantly not me and this little piece of dark 'what
if' is
not meant to infringe on any of their copyrights.

I'd Die To Find Out
by Shelia
I want you
I don't know if I
need you, but
I'd die to find out... savage garden
"Are you trying to get me drunk Detective Knight?" Natalie teased as
she
accepted the refilled wine glass. She settled back into the comfortable
leather of the couch and looked around Nick's candle lit loft.
Glancing at
the various pieces of history scattered artfully about.
Nick lifted her glassless hand to his lips, demanding attention, grinning.
"And if I am?" he answered, his brilliant blue eyes playful and...'was
that a slight glimmer of gold?', as he kissed her wrist, his mouth
exquisitely cool against the delicate skin, causing a flutter of desire
to
dance through her.
Natalie blushed at the instant heat Nick's caress brought and she took
a
sip of her wine to cover her chaos, but it only enhanced her awareness,
making her bold. She bit her lip and smiling, looked up at him.
"Nick," she began, 'And is it a dare,' Natalie thought, 'to look into
his
gold flecked eyes?' "Can you taste the wine in the blood?"
He smiled, a blending of mystery and innocence amplified by the hint
of
dark covenant. "Natalie, I can 'smell' the wine in your blood,"
he
whispered against her skin as the blue in his eyes turned to green,
embellishing the golden gleam. Nick's smile grew wider and Natalie
could
see the points of his fangs, feel their sharpness against her wrist.
Her boldness, like all fickle friends, fled and Natalie lowered her
lids
She couldn't believe how incredibly turned on she was. Some shadowy,
primal
core in her was so fervently aroused by this dark knight.
'Nicholas de Brabant.'
Nat drew her bottom lip in, moistening it, the only noticeable sign
of her
kindling desire. To a human. But Nick wasn't human. Not any more.
'What secrets could an eight hundred year old lover know, and use to
seduce?'
The possibilities of Nick was something she could not deny. From
the
moment he had opened those feral eyes and sat up on her table, she
was
hooked. All her reasoning and logic was pushed away, when he
told her what
he was.
'A vampire.'
He was a golden angel, like a gift from some dark god. How could
she
refuse, after all it had been her birthday.
'The day they brought you in,' Nat thought as Nick took the crystal
from
her hand, setting it on the table behind the couch. He caressed
her cheek
softly with the back of his hand before running his fingers through
her
hair, cupping the back of her head. He pulled her closer and
gently sucked
at the corner of her mouth. His cool tongue darting out, tracing
the line
of her lips, before drawing her lower lip between his as he pulled
her to
him.
Arms twining around his neck, fingers in his hair, Natalie felt his
fangs
against the warm, yielding flesh of her lower lip. A delicious shudder
coursed through her as she melted into his embrace.
As Nick pulled her onto his lap, her legs spread and Natalie instinctively
pressed against the rough fabric of his levis, bring out a soft moan
from
her and a low throaty growl from Nick..His hands now at her waist,
sliding
up her back, pushing Nat's silk shirt up, bunching it at her shoulders,
stretching it tight across her breasts.
Nick lowered his head, his fangs sharp against the taut material, his
mouth, his tongue, playing against her shirt front.
Natalie's fingers tightened in Nick's hair as he growled deep in his
throat
then bit into the tender mound of her breast. He then looked
up at her,
his eyes green gold as he licked his sensitive blood stained canines.
Nick
took a deep breath and kissed the hollow of her throat softly, his
cool
tongue lightly trailing up over her chin, to trace the contours of
her
mouth. Searching, parting her lips with a voracious desire which
she
hungrily met.
Nick's breathing was sharp, carnivorous, as he kissed and nipped his
way
back to her neck, he plunged his fangs and Natalie gave a soft cry,
the low
moan that was the disordered mixture of pleasurable pain. Overwhelmed,
she
reflexivly tightened her fingers in his hair, gasping for air as she
felt
Nick draw her into him. And she was him, for a brief, timeless
eternity,
they were one.
Racing to the dark that was also the light...
Natalie met oblivion.
